Strategy Implementation Support (SIS),focus –though not exclusively- General Strategy and Sales and Marketing Strategy

Reports: Directly to Chairman of the Executive Board
Base: Dortmund, occasional travels
Context: International industrial Group

Mission, Philosophy and Corporate Strategy of the Group as well as Functional Strategies have been defined and approved on a group basis, major Key Initiatives have been outlined.
Establishing strategy process, breakdown of overall strategic targets as well as definition of Key Initiatives on entity level (Sales Areas, Divisions, Corporate Functions) is now Key Priority before next Strategy Review
It is intended to establish the Strategy Process and describe it in a Strategy manual.

Main Job elements:

-inhouse consultant for strategy implementation

-collect and follow up deliverables for strategy process, focus on Sales and Marketing strategy elements by Sales Areas and S&M management team

-prepare Sales and Marketing Part for yearly strategy review

-closely cooperate with Sales Controlling regarding scenario building and option evaluation for existing quantitative base scenario 2014

-closely cooperate with strategic controlling regarding mai strategy inputs

-develop for formats for Key Initiative Tracking from General Strategy field as well as Sales and marketing Strategy

-closely cooperate with Market Intelligence and Controlling regarding data mining for market analysis and corporate analysis purposes

-perform defined Corporate development tasks in the context of M&A or alliance evaluations, with focus on Sales and Marketing dimension

Engineering background + MBA, combined technical/economics (Wirtschaftsingenieur) Or economics background with technical affinity

5-7 years professional experience, possibly first team leadership/junior management experience, preferably from B2B segment

Business English fluent, German and French an asset, above average MS office literacy
